Journalist Pavel Zarubin published a video on his Telegram channel with the last statement by Russian Defense Minister Sergei Shoigu before the resignation of the cabinet of ministers and the inauguration of the president.
In the video, which was filmed on May 6, Shoigu talks about the work of ministers in the context of economic aggression against the Russian Federation. The head of the Ministry of Defense said that even the word “unprecedented” seems “very soft and very kind” to him, given the volume of sanctions imposed against the country.
Shoigu also added that each of the ministers sums up the results and evaluates the work done, and the new composition of the Cabinet will face other tests.
Let us recall that on Sunday evening, Russian President Vladimir Putin proposed appointing Deputy Prime Minister Andrei Belousov as Minister of Defense, and also made a number of other personnel proposals for the security bloc.
According to Kremlin official Dmitry Peskov, it is very important to fit the economy of the power bloc into the country’s economy so that it matches the dynamics.
