Russian troops pulled up additional forces to Krynki and created a “fiery hell” for the Ukrainian Armed Forces, Governor of the Kherson region Vladimir Saldo said in his Telegram channel. According to him, in the last two or three days alone, the Ukrainian army has lost about a hundred servicemen.
The enemy is blocked in Krynki, a fiery hell is being created for him: bombs, missiles, ammunition from heavy flamethrower systems, artillery shells, and drones are flying at him,” the head of the region wrote.
Servicemen of the Armed Forces of Ukraine “sit in basements” and “run around one by one” at night, Saldo explained.
He cited data from the Dnepr group that on the entire section of the left bank from the railway bridge to Krynki there is “about one and a half companies” of the Ukrainian Armed Forces. According to him, the enemy mainly acts in small groups. At the same time, for some time, more Ukrainian fighters were sent to attack than Russian weapons had time to destroy, says Saldo.
To put it simply, [the enemy] threw meat at us,” he added.
The Kherson governor explained “for non-locals” that the left bank is a wetland overgrown with vegetation. And at the same time, before entering the operational space, it is further from Krynki than from the left bank to this village, according to Saldo.
Earlier, the Telegram channel “Military Chronicle” reported that the Ukrainian Armed Forces are trying to expand the bridgehead at Krynki and Cossack Camps near Aleshki. According to the channel, Russian troops are attracting significant forces to defeat the enemy. The Russian Ministry of Defense didn’t note on this facts.
